Howdy,

We hope this greeting finds you well. It has been a while since our last holiday letter. We’ll share only 2008 news. For the rest of the story you’ll have to buy us a drink.

We still live in the Huntsville area of North Alabama. Mike is a Project Manager with the Army Corps of Engineers. Sanitta is a Manager with Deloitte Consulting.

The year began with a surprise fire at a neighbors’ house. Everyone got out safe, but the house was a total loss. When you live in the country you can’t expect the volunteer fire department to be as quick or efficient as the big city.

We saw our youngest son Tecumseh join the Navy, our middle son Cochise and his wife Aiesha grow in parenthood and our oldest son Sequoyah and his wife Tamika make great strides in their professional careers. We are so proud of our kids.

We took several exciting trips solo and together. Sanitta went to Panama in Central America, Maryland, Denver, Las Vegas, & Michigan. Mike went to Miami, West Virginia, DC, Burbank, Lake Tahoe, Albuquerque, & Salt Lake City. We enjoyed each others company in Atlanta, Memphis, Puerto Rico, Florida, & North Carolina.

Mike is still playing a lot of tennis. He captains several teams and competed at the Alabama State Championships in Dothan last fall. We both have gotten hooked on golf and enjoyed rounds of golf at some really nice courses such as Ross Bridge in Alabama and Dorado Beach Resort in Puerto Rico. Doral and Pebble Beach are in the plans for the future.

Mike had the opportunity to see Obama when he came through Alabama during the primary race. We both will venture to DC for the inauguration. Watch for us among the 4 million.

God Bless and Have a Happy New Year,

Mike & Sanitta
