I am happily married with three adult sons, three granddaughters, and three grandsons. My wife of 25 years, Sanitta and I currently live in the Washington, DC area in southern Maryland. I am a servant leader serving the community as a mentor to our youth as Immediate Past President of the 100 Black Men of Prince George's County.

Professionally, I am a visionary and goal oriented senior project manager currently serving as a civilian Project Director and Team Lead for the US Army Corps of Engineers Medical Facilities Mandatory Center of Expertise and Standardization. We directly support the design and construction of hospitals and other medical facilities worldwide for the Army, Air Force, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Interior, and host nations. Currently we have 59 active projects programmed at $11.9 Billion.

I have varied experiences with many technologies and project management processes across several industries working for several government and commercial entities. I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with honors and have completed extensive graduate work in Computer Engineering.

Early in my adult life, I became active as an alpine ski race competitor, racing against world class racers at the masters level. I was the first Black Level 2 certified race coach in the nation and served as a national youth race coach and executive board of director member of a then 20,000+ member National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS), a non-profit focused on skiing. I worked closely with the US Ski Team and ski academies to secure scholarships for urban youth nationwide and was also a founding board member of the Crested Butte Academy in Colorado. I currently serve as the Vice-President of Racing  for Black Ski, Inc., a local ski club in the Washington, DC area. We are highly competitive and over the past 50 years have many national titles to show for it. I am currently the National Race Director for the NBS, in charge of coordinating all competitions at the annual NBS Black Summit.

I am also an accomplished t’ai chi ch’uan practitioner, gardener, avid golfer, hiker, adventuresome SCUBA diver, recreational boater and compete regularly in ski racing, volleyball, tennis, sprint triathlons and auto racing.
